I'm headed out to Dodge park tomorrow for Urban Scrawl -- I had a great time at this show last year, and I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

my own treasury

Recently, I was in "a treasury called Edith" on Etsy. You can make a treasury now whenever you want, for any silly idea you might have.

Anyway, I just had to look up my own name . . .

Not bad . . . I'm really interested in that "Sarah Palin Art Wig." Pretty sure "art wigs" is a new creative arena entirely. I also love that the dog in the little coat looks like Harlie.

If you want to click on any of the listings, you'll have to visit it on Etsy, I can't understand how to make it work correctly on my blog.

columbus alive

I'm so proud to be featured in this week's edition of Columbus Alive!

Check it out online here, or pick up the print edition (it's the comfest paper that looks like this):

hocking hills

John and I spent the weekend camping in Hocking Hills. Now the weather was a little, uh, wet, but we did manage get some hiking and grilling in between rain bursts. Never mind the mud and treachery.

We stayed in a little private cabin which was complete with hot tub, kitchen, and totally comfy couches. It was a good thing our lodging was so nice because it rained all day Saturday and we were "stuck" inside reading. . . . (I sat in a hot tub, reading Emma and listening to the rain, poor me!)

I really had a wonderful time, and I'm still sad that we had to pack up and come home yesterday.

The only thing was that I was really excited to work on figuring out my camera, and to try to remember something about my f-stops. Still I had fun taking photos between bouts of rain, in the utter humidity (lens fog, anyone?), and despite the fact that I forgot I had a lens hood and a filter thingy.

I'm putting them up on flickr, if you're interested.
